Using the TruPulse 360B Laser Rangefinder

RuggedReady asked:

All models of the TurPulse can measure Horizontal Distance, Slope Distance, Vertical Distance, Tree Height, and Inclination. The TruPulse 360B has a built-in compass and it can also measure Azimuth, as well as the bearing, distance, and inclination between two targets. Because of the built-in compass, the TruPulse 360B is well suited for traversing, measuring stock pile volume (with optional software), and for setting offset GPS points in programs such as ArcPad. The TruPulse 360B also ...

TruPulse Rain Jacket For Your TruPulse 200 or 360 Laser Rangefinder

RuggedReady asked:

The TruPulse Rain Jacket provides an extra level of protection against water intrusion and bumps for the TruPulse laser rangefinders. It slides on easily, overhanging at the top front and top back to shield against rain. All buttons on the TruPulse are accessible and easily pressed. While the neoprene material is waterproof, the TruPulse Rain Jacket does not make the TruPulse Laser Rangefinder waterproof. Visit www.resourcesupplyllc.com for more information and pricing....

Russian main battle tank

Avcharka asked:

this is a nice video about Russian MBT's, showing the T-80, the T-90 and the NEW Superior black Eagle ...
The BE is the newest main battle tank (MBT) in service with the Russian army, a further development of the T-80.
The BE is fitted with conventional armour plating and nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) protection equipment.

The glacis and the turret of BE are covered by the third generation Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armour (ERA). The tank's low rounded turret is centered on the hull and is covered by ERA bricks. This ERA gives the turret an angled appearance, with the ERA bricks forming a clam shell appearance. ERA bricks on the turret roof provide protection from top-attack weapons.

The BE is equipped with the Shtora-1 (Russian: Штора-1 or "curtain" in English) countermeasures suite, produced by Electronintorg of Russia. This system includes infrared jammer, laser warning system with four laser warning receivers, grenade discharging system which produces an aerosol screen and a computerised control system. The laser warning system warns the tank's crew when the tank has been 'painted' by a weapon-guidance laser. The BE's electro-optical jammer, the Shtora-1 EOCMDAS, jams the enemy's semiautomatic command to line of sight (SACLOS) antitank guided missiles, laser rangefinders, and target designators. the BE is also equipped with ARENA
these tanks are well known for their maneuverability, speed and huge firepower...
The Black Eagle could easily over power the newest of the western MBT's such as: Challenger, Abrams and Leclerc and Leopard 2.
The tank has the following important innovations compared to Soviet-school tanks: * Stretched hull with 7 road-wheels per side, allowing to increase the thickness of the glacis armor array and move the driver's hatch farther to the rear thereby eliminating the weakened area around driver's optics present on Soviet tanks. * The bustle-mounted high-capacity ammo magazine/autoloader that allows high rate of fire, fast automated ammo replenishment, eliminates main survivability issue with Soviet tanks, and reduces the height of the tank by 400mm compared to T-80U (allowing increased front armor density). * Placement of the armament in a separate compartment with provisions for the installation of a wide range of different mainguns (up to 152mm) without the need for heavy redesign. * Placement of each crewmember in a separate compartment, thereby limiting the crew casualties in case of ***********. * Very sloped frontal armor with high degree of protection uniformity over a variety of angles. * Thick turret roof with multilayered armor to counter top-attack threats.
