Mine works fine, sorry you had an error.
I picked up a sign at 1113 yards! I’m planning on using this for deer in a forest, I only nedd 150 yard max. Thanks for the comment! Take care.

I bought one and try out for myself…then sent it back. This range finder won’t get any readings beyond 550 (on all terrains/angles/time of day/conditions I could think of). mine failed miserably. I’ve been using a friend’s Swarovski LRG1500 for 2 weeks now and I was wrong for trying to prove him wrong that a cheap NcStar is as good as other high brands. For a good price, I’d only recommend if you’re shooting sub calibers or varmint @ 100-400 max with this range finder, just nothing special.

How strange at 1:50 I did the same thing with the eye rubber thing to be able to hold it up to my camcorder.

I’d still prefer Nikon, but that one looks nice. Great review, Derek; of course what else to expect from you.
